The Nu/Hi-Nu wouldn't be able to fly for an extended battle, or match S-Freedom's speed, but its funnels could do that.

Even the J type should be able to move around in space. It still has a thruster, and the AMBAC should still work, allowing turns and such. Of course, it'd perform extremely poorly.
