I think the accident should happen - after all its the major even in the KGNE that started all the drama. Events that follow after should be different. Perhaps the guy should put a heavy load of blame on Mitsuki for dragging him along and makig him late(and on himself) and later begg for Harukas forgiveness or something like that... but accident imo should happen.
