I'm glad they followed through with showing the actual concert, but not sure how I feel about them taking the unused pilot clips and inserting them in. Also, I think I underestimated the need to know what was being said for this episode, solely because of the concert. Sheryl becoming emotional on the stage and speaking...seems very important.
Ranka actually enjoying herself at the concert was a delight, although she doesn't seem to know that Alto or even that her brother have sortied. Does she even know he's a pilot? Did I miss that somehow?
Looks like I was wrong. Klein didn't even get a volley clip during the battle. Teased Michael a bit and a single "Nani!?" when the Vajra ship showed up and that's it.
...Absolutely no Meltran love.
Speaking of Michael, I guess in animeland every "elite" unit requires a sniper, no matter how silly or out of place it may be.
Apparently they fixed the problem of having their missles jammed. I giggled when Ozma's HUD light up like a Christmas tree, and started picking targets.
Karaina knows how to clear a space, but it makes you wonder why the capital ships didn't already have those weapons installed, especially since the little flak guns they use are worthless. I guess unless it transforms, it's worthless.
Seeing certain angles of the battle through Alto's eyes was interesting. Nice immersion.
Oh...great. Something of Ranka's is glowing, Sheryl's earring is resonating, and they're having a dialogue across space and time. I sure hope it's metaphorical.
Luca's in trouble! Alto, time to be a hero, but unfortunately he seems to be drowning out Sheryl's singing! Stop firing that damn gun dammit! (Btw I loved the dull expressions Michael and Ozma were using when they were simply
shocked by what he was doing!
)
And here's another instance where knowing what they were saying would help; finding out just what exactly each Bridge Bunny does!
No...it's transforming. Why, God, why? It hasn't done ANYTHING yet besides launch fighters! Please, listen to Cathy and stop this madness before it's too late!
The darn earring is singing now!
...It's over. I feel violated. I think I'm going to follow Cathy's lead and use the facilities.
