What are you on about? Bayonetta is clearly in the DMC mold and considering it was made by the guy who made DMC that makes sense. Darksiders does feature pretty basic combat like GOW but it's also more like Zelda than a GOW type game.
Unless GOW 3 really improves the combat engine than there's no way it compares to Bayonetta let alone NGB and DMC3. Still I'm not expecting to have as good combat as that, I'm expecting an epic experience and it should deliver in that regard.
