But I got a bit confused. What I don't understand here it is how much a character is powerful.
Spoiler for space:
I mean, each character got great start, but that power has been losing strength episode after episode. Fraude looked powerful, even Ryner said that, and Ryner and Ferris lost, but Luke overpowered him (even if it wasn't a real fight, I know). The red one, Sion right-hand man had the same start but then again he lost against Tiir, and Tiir, who had the same path too, in this episode looked so fragile.
And Ryner himself looks like to have no chances against anybody with his thunder-light that even a child can dodge (Ok, Ryner it is not at his full strength right now) Anyways each time Ferris save him. On the contrary Ferris, not having any power, seems really powerful (is her sword a relic?).
Anyways Gastark need to be erased for what they gonna do to Kiefer. Even if

In the novel, Ryner and Ferris actually would've won against Miran if he didn't retreat(Ryner's casting speed is far superior to the pace at which Miran can summon beasts. If nothing else, Miran wouldn't be able to deal with a constant spell barrage). The anime sorta screwed that part up.
