I considered this, but I realized "how would the game's save files even know the difference?"
Honestly, the save file is just a point in a gigantic script, it doesn't carry baggage like "coins collected or no?"
I believe that data is stored in the game's code itself, not within the individual save files. Then again, my knowledge of the onscripter code is not optimal, so I might be wrong. SOMEONE GO FIND THE SECRET ENDING
