Mystlord is right, I think, that Sayaka doesn't
really start to change her overall approach until then. Sayaka was quite resolute in what she said to Kyoko before then.
And, look, to say "I can't hug him! I can't kiss him!" while you're
currently hugging another person and crying on her shoulder... that's a bit much, isn't it?
