^-- Man.... why wasn't the series starting out like that? Sure, throw in a little training (TRAINING!) here and there, but more importantly work the character interaction more, work their emotions more, so that the ending would make us connect with them more, make us feel them more, make us shed manly tears when they got sliced apart, but no.... it started the same way the manga did. They could have made the Anime special in its own way!
