I liked Gundam Wing because of its story. I really like social commentary and political story lines in anything. Gundam Wing was filled with that. Sure the beginning is really slow, but that's because you're being introduced to like 26 important characters and how they are all connected. You have to sit through the boring stuff to get to the ACTUAL story. The ACTUAL story happens after Zero is introduced and all hell breaks loose. It goes from being a political war to being a very emotional one. With the Wing Zero making you question yourself. Zero almost becomes the enemy versus anyone against the Gundam pilots. It has so many different dimensions to it that even though I have seen it like 10 times all the way through, I am STILL picking up on new things.
Granted it is not my FAVORITE Gundam series...but it is still an amazing series that so many people give up on too early because they don't see the true meaning behind it. It's just such a great series...
