That pretty much leaves Yuuko with Kubo, since Yuuko is too much of a...tsun to actually move in on Aki (hell, Hideyoshi has gone even farther without even doing anything but liking Aki's treatment of him!) and Kubo just can't spit it out.
Yuuko falls back on Kubo for emotional (plus alphas) support and angsting, with him completely helpless to resist because for all he knows, Aki is taken already (double irony if he's convinced that Aki has chosen Hideyoshi.)
