To be exact, the original text meant that she wants to play with Sphinx.
I strongly believe that is Maika as later during the talk with Kumokawa Maria, she was revealed to have been there... Plus that quote sounds like something she would say as the two of them are really just friends.
Speaking about Kumokawa Maria, I'm somewhat psych about the prospect of Touma having his own Meido- Itsuwa tried out that role for 1 volume but didn't make the cut as she was still normal at that time.
