Because Kanon is still great, with a memorable cast, moving interwoven story(s), vivid KyoAni animation, intelligent direction, and lovely OST (for the most).
Even though saimoe tourney voters have seemingly forgotten the
Kanon girls, each one is so deliciously-detailed in her own way and well-deserving of living on in anime history, even if only in the hearts of their fans. So this thread is a bonus
