Maybe Okiura or the anime illustrator's fault, they might not know Rail cannon require both of the rails in contact with the projectile. That's where the friction issue came from. :|
EDIT: Then again that rail gun STILL use starter charge and casing, what the hell....
Side note - I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE TATENASHI UPGRADE AND THATS FINAL! Because she already good enough to kick some sorry ass without it.
