I really liked them, although, I would rather want to read the Novel, so that I could have every detail on the Volumes.

1. Sorry, Baka-Tsuki is the only site that's translating the novels, but there are volume summaries on this thread somewhere though.
2. Here's a link for the novels untranslated if you're interested. It's up to 12 volumes though.
3. The author had his operation but there's no clear answer on how his health is from what I've learned.
4. Either vol 21-22, yes he did say, I think.
5. I haven't read the manga so I don't know.
6. 12 episodes unfortunately just like all the previous seasons (season 1 was 13).
