Just for a change of pace, I think I'll reply to my reviewers this time.
Spoiler for Kool Kaptivating Kogetsu reply:

Funny reference all the same. And he does like a girl with a French name...
Quote:
And so we start with Timeline 6, with Homura using the old chloroform rag trick to kidnap Madoka. It's not a magical kiss, but it's certainly effective. At any rate, it's off to a random apartment in Canada, where all Japanese girls go when they need to disappear for a while.
|
Or find radio work.
Quote:
At any rate, after restating the fact that she had no intention of causing Madoka harm, "Senjougahara" revealed just how much of an insane stalker(Madoka's words, not mine!) she really is by spelling out the fact she has everything Madoka could possibly want.
|
Homura would probably say that she's not insane, just thorough. This would be with a light touch of kuudere blushing, of course.
Quote:
Anyway, "Senjougahara" also briefly explained why she did all this... a cute little critter wants to make Madoka's life miserable for the sake of the universe! "Senjougahara" even demonstrated why she had to go through such lengths by... er... explaining that Madoka is one of the most easily exploited anime girls ever, due to her inability to turn away someone asking for help.
|
Well, it's probably true.
Quote:
I want to be silly for a moment, so please bear with me while I attempt some jokes.
Spoiler for Bad jokes about the next portion.:
Yes Madoka, "Senjougahara" is an insane stalker. I'm glad you've realized that faster than the you from the previous timelines.
I wonder... did Madoka hesitate to eat her stew in the off chance it was poisoned, or was she just afraid "Senjougahara" was a bad cook?
With the extensive lengths she's gone for this plan, this "Senjougahara" sounds like a... Smooth Criminal.
Okay, I'm done with the cheap jokes now. Haha. I'm funny.
|
Does this mean that Homura's next kidnapping of Madoka will result in her arriving in Neverland? :
Quote:
Now, I'm not a big hockey fan... or a fan of pro sports in general, for that matter... but it's pretty obvious someone isn't too fond of the team being represented here. Really now... this team literally needs a miracle to win?
|
Well, in fairness, some of their own fans probably think that.
Quote:
Moving right along... Homura's battle against the hockey witch and the dead hopes of the teams fans was rather impressive. Interesting use of what I'm guessing was a weaponized version of the Stanley Cup... and I absolutely love the number of grenades required to take the witch down. I believe that would be called a hat trick?
|
Clever! Good one!
Quote:
At any rate, we're back to Madoka narration... if it weren't for the rather blatant invasions of privacy involved with the restroom, I'd actually have to declare this the best kidnapping ever. And... I don't think it was a trust issue... at least not the bath part. I mean, after all, the very next scene has the two of them bathing together... with... Madoka on Homura's lap... um... yeah, I'm... I'm just gonna stop talking about that... ehehehe... So anyway, we find out Homura's signs of trust include allowing Madoka to walk freely and... sleeping in the same bed... that... doesn't have anything to do with trust either, does it?
|
Homura is a smooth operator. So, yeah, she's a smooth criminal.
Quote:
Erm... so Homura reveals their location, and promises to give information on the rat if Madoka doesn't try to escape during the next two days... are we supposed to assume Madoka has attempted that?
|
I don't think Madoka would attempt that if in a foreign country. Madoka is pretty cautious and careful, after all.
Quote:
Also, that's a pretty interesting name for the radio host. Not sure where you came up with it. With the revelation comes some information in regards to local cuisine, as well as number of witches and a few other Puella Magi... and the reveal that Homura could very easily make a living as a stage magician with proper use of her ability to stop time.
|
Stage magician would be the perfect career for Homura. Maybe I'll one day write an ending where she ends up as one.
Quote:
And, Homura ends up getting what she's been wanting... Madoka has slowly fallen for her, but unfortunately for her, it turned out to be too late. For once, I'm actually not glad to see Mami and Sayaka show up... I was enjoying that Permanent Vacation.
|
Well, at least this spares Homura a tearful goodbye...
Quote:
Oh well... the rescue itself was quite impressive, and Hitomi working with Sayaka instead of against is a rather stark contrast to the scenes that lead into this ending...
|
I intended for that to be amusingly ironic.
Quote:
...of course, Madoka actually trying to defend Homura allowed the latter to make her escape, much to the surprise of Sayaka. By the way... "Dudley DuWright" sounds awfully familiar... I can't quite place that name, though.
|
I hear he's a guy that hates snidely people who use whiplashes...
Quote:
At any rate, a police investigation insued, and after that, the four girls appearing in this ending not named Homura headed back to.. a mostly destroyed Mitakihara Town. Thankfully no one we're familiar with got hurt in the disaster that struck, but it unfortunately resulted in everyone going their separate ways...
As for the Kyousuke thing... I'm not exactly sure I approve of the outcome here, but it is fitting within canon... Unfortunately, without confirmation otherwise, I'm going to have to assume someone had to deal with a rather large mermaid soon after... As for the others, you've left it delightfully ambiguous as to what happened to them. Except the rat, who we know didn't get what he wanted.
|
The approach I'm taking with Kyousuke is that his first choice is Hitomi unless he feels more gratefulness towards Sayaka than love for Hitomi. I like this because I think it fits nicely with the warning that Mami gave Sayaka in the canon anime.
And yes, I intended for this ending to be open-ended when it comes to the ultimate fates of our Puella Magi stars.
Quote:
However, we do know what happened with Madoka, as she's enjoying her high school life with a different Senjougahara as a friend, who happens to resemble Homura... I wonder if their voices sound similar, too...
|
Perhaps they even share a fondness for being in a certain dominant role...
Quote:
Anyway... long story short. A nice ending to the "bad idea" choice that doesn't get you killed immediately.
|
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

lol! Good one. But don't worry, I won't bombard you with big, wide eyes while I exclaim "I am curious!" to you.
Quote:
Now that I'm at 100% I've got ClariS playing and I'm ready to go.
As always, before I give you my final grade on your performance I'm going to go deep into what you've done. So let's get started!
|
Heath Ledger Joker: And here we... go!
Quote:
Ahem:
Like with the PS3 power button Homura once again had to "reset" to gain another opportunity to change Madoka's fate. Kyubey being a constant but annoying threat to her and the other girls in general, she had to take extreme measures and it looks like she thought this out perfectly. To makes this even more awesome, it's on Canadian soil, our home court!
|
That made it easier for me to write too, lol.
Quote:
I really like that idea, great work I liked it!
|
Thanks a lot! I figured Canadian PPPL readers especially would get a kick out of this.
Yeah, the Monogatari series definitely inspired this, in more ways than names alone. I definitely think that Madoka is to Homura what Koyomi is to Hitagi.
Hopefully the real life Toronto Maple Leafs will win The Stanley Cup again before 2058-59. But at the moment, the Habs fan in me couldn't resist making a joke at their expense. Especially when that "joke" could actually believably fit within the Madoka Magica world, lol.
Quote:
Homura needs to find ammo for her weapons? That's strange I thought that she had an unlimited supply of it. Guess she's not like Solid Snake afterall.
|
Well, based on Madoka Magica Episode 10, I assume she stole loads and loads of ammo from the Yakuza (and perhaps some military bases) but can't just create it out of thin air (so the supply will run out eventually). But if I'm wrong on that, and a Homura fan points that out, I'll certainly make a correction.
Quote:
Anyway despite Madoka getting homesick and uncomfortable being locked up at first, I can't but feel that she was starting to enjoying it. Never knew that Madoka could be an M, it icould work because like Sayaka, she was always accessible to emotional punishment. Considering that Homura is putting her in a BDSM scenario, which I found rather hot...to say the least, I could so see that working.
|
lol! Well, I think Madoka would generally be more comfortable letting "the other person" be the aggressor/"take the lead" if you know what I mean.
Quote:
Just when Madoka's M side was about to awaken, Sayaka, now a Puella Magi, has come to save the day. Just when she was about to break. Dammit!!
|
Hopefully this will build-up anticipation for Mami Lives, Homura Romance.
Quote:
Sayaka loses the love war to Hitomi in a fair and honorable sense, that I can live with because they both had a chance to do it and no backhanded tactics from the later whatsoever. She lost which sucks, but there's always Kyoko so it all works out in the end. Madoka and Mami go their separate ways with Madoka meeting someone who looks like Homura (which sounds familiar but can't put my finger on it.), and Mami supporting herself with work which makes sense considering she does live in a fancy apartment by herself with no adult supervision after all.
|
I'm glad all of that worked for you. I did think it would make more sense for Mami to support herself than to continue on to high school if her friends weren't going to be at any local high school.
Quote:
Grading Time.
Spoiler for Pros:
Anyway I really enjoyed the scenario, the meat of the story, and the ending. Great job incorporating Homura's "justified" logic and reasoning for her actions. This scenario really made me feel right at home due to the setting, the RCMP's, and poutine which I haven't had in a while, makes you feel proud to have the Puella Magi's visiting your country. Once again I still have to give you props for using Ryoko Asakura as a CBC radio host, I guess she found another calling besides beckoning people out to empty classrooms and attempting to to kill them.
Oh well, all the best to her. I'm going to give you a 10/10 for this scenario. It earns it. Congrats dude, you've pulled a great winner out of a hat once again. Phenomenal work I truly enjoyed this!
|
Thanks a lot! I'm really glad to get a better grade on this than the previous update. I figured you'd like Mami/Sayaka's "big moment" in this update, and that hopefully this would make up some for Mami's inaction and Sayaka's lost in the previous update.

Spoiler for Cons:
The Dudley Duwright part kind of turned me off. I wasn't a fan of the series plus the character looks creepy and weird in general. Sorry it's just me, please don't hate me if you're a fan of the series.
I also think you could've introduced us to the Canadian Puella Magi's. Like give them names, descriptions on their appearance, powers/abilities, and where in Canada do they come from. That's just my two cents...that's all!.
|
Well, on the Dudley DuWright part, that was just a joke reference, really. I wasn't a huge fan of the Dudley DuWright, but I found the concept behind it amusing.
I'll admit I just got lazy on the Canadian Puella Magi's.
Maybe I'll put together some ideas for them, and basic physical descriptions, in time for Kimidori's finished VN of this.
Quote:
Phew, well I can't wait to see what you have in store next well until then dude, until then!
|
I hope to have the next Chapter of this up within a day or two.
