Well, there are some differences and the LNs tend to be more thorough. There is also some slight differences in the manga but nothing that creates major plot problems or make me get uppity about how it was done.
I do like both and am working through both.
They both have a unique perspective and bring something to the story and work to breathe more life into the characters... i.e. read both.
