Even if Hinata is more powerful all-round than Orihime is, even she cannot stop Orihime's curse (that black fog of misfortune that seeps out of her).
That's why you have Yasuke as her emotional leash. I'll praise him this time because he caught on real quick and snapped Orihime out of that in this chapter.
I'd say the only thing that would be unfortunate for Yasuke is that he cannot afford to let any of the goddesses in his harem to become jealous (at least not to extremes), but other than that we can all agree he's a lucky man.
