Isn't he over 100 already? though his 16?17? then placed into sleeping capsule that should have lead them sleep for a couple of hours to days and not a century. (sorry memory on the details is already hazy so I'm not sure on the finer details)

If I'm not mistaken, he might actually be over 200 years old. He says that he was born/created in the A.D. era, but doesn't say what year, was the vice admiral until space year 69, then went into cold sleep and woke up 120 years later.
