I wonder who the friends were that followed Kaban with the other half of the bus boat. I guess the producers don't know either (yet) and wait and see which nendoroid will sell best. Ironically, that angry looking meme bird didn't even appear in the final episode - or did it?
That was definitely the anime of the season (and more) for me. And I've been following a lot even if I've only commented here.
Kemono Friends was certainly an exceptional anime not only looking at it's popularity but also concerning how it became popular so late in Japan and never really took off in he rest of the world. It will be cited as an example in the neverending discussions about what it means that an anime is "good" as opposed (or not) to "popular" and how to carefully judge anime in early stages. And the QUALITY of Crunchy's translations ...
