Reina (little* Himeragi) does that too. So does Nagisa, who's raised as Kojou's sister whether blood related or not (I have no idea), even his mom.
As mentioned above, it's a consistent, intentional break from the norm, not just Reina's thing.
*Actually, she should probably be called the "big" Himeragi...please don't kill me.
