It's been stated by others that she only wanted to join him so she could get close to him to kill him.

Also see Naruto's saving Sakura from Sasuke is similar to Minato's saving Kushina from Kyuubi.

If Sasuke does come back I am not sure I can see her treat him differently.. and if she does then maybe I will except Sakura not loving Sasuke or if she hits him out of anger.

I don't think she would be able to get close and kill him, since she failed the first time.

Maybe that "trying to kill sasuke" attempt would stop her from her reckless actions.
