Although I hope that the showdown between Chifuyu and Madoka doesn't occur 'off-screen' , or if it does, we get to have a 'flashback' of sorts to it. Ichika rushes to his sister, who is pretty much lethargic at that point until she (finally) recognizes Ichika. Could take moments or even days for her to finally *recognize* him and she 'wakes up' .
