It's completely ambiguous at the moment. All we've got is "Six months after Boo, they erased everyone's memories with the Dragon Balls and then some more time has passed." It could be a few months, or it could be a lot more than that.
And if anyone has been told otherwise... go get some better fansubs. I hear there's a
lot of garbage subs out for this series.
