I doubt there will be romantic pairings in Bleach but if Ichigo were to be paired with anyone, it would be Rukia (no offense to Ichigo-Orihime shippers of course). Rukia was originally Kubo Tite's main protagonist until he realized that he needed someone who could carry the series better, so he created Ichigo. If in fact Kubo is planning to start a romance for Ichigo, I think there's not much to argue about, it all points to Rukia. Orihime would be an ideal love interest for him though. But I say, just pair Ichigo with Renji, it would be a lot more fun that way. :P
