I don't know about fame or popularity, but Asakawa has an enormous and extremely varied career, and she only started in around '97. Again, regardless of fame, people in charge know she's got the skills, and that's why she keeps getting roles every year everywhere, even if she made H material that has futanari in it (yeah, I know, GTS was so glorious until then...).
