That's right...I'm talking about Gilgamesh, the anime that most people only watched one episode of and therefore really missed out.
This series DEFINITELY transcends the kiddy influence you are talking about and should hold your attention quite adequately if you can get past an episode or 2 or 3 (at most).

Does it have any relation to the story of Gilgamesh? If so, I'm not even thinking of touching it.
