To be honest, it didn't really click at first (which made the old man's line that he is honored to be remembered funny), but the old man is the guy that previously appeared in the arena and the fat guy is the guy from the beginning? It was a pretty good episode. It's been a while since the anime didn't give an air of rushing the story. Though I'd like to know why the fat guy didn't just attack while Riannon was floating in her mind and Arthur talking to her and letting his guard down... Maybe he's actually a really nice guy?
