I would be. In fact, if the sage training finally makes Naruto take it up another level in maturity, especially considering Jiraiya's recent demise, I will be supremely pleased. You underestimate Naruto. he has the potential to be just as powerful as Sasuke, but Kishimoto has paid no attention to him and spent no time developing his character at all. If the sage training means that naruto gets his time to shine, I will be very happy. Now I'm not saying I want a deus ex machina "uber-Naruto" after the training. What I want is a more mature naruto that still possesses his positive ideals. In order for Naruto to really gain strength, he must reach a maturity level require to use such power responsibly.

And the fact that Kishimoto has given Naruto like minuscule time the past year doesn't bother you? I don't remember the last shounen manga where the Main character got shafted this badly.
