Fanfic idea:
A Japanese girl who is actually one of the best pilot among the first year. The weird thing is that she is not chosen as a Rep Candidate for Japan because.... Sarashiki family pulled string from behind to let Kanzashi to be the rep candidate of Japan.(yay for political intrusion? To be fair, if Kanzashi has a personal IS, it means that the family will have two IS under them)

Ootaka Yuuko
Personal IS: Muramasa (Japan's 2nd third Gen IS)

Note: Anybody in her position would be pissed off too. Her anger just manifest negatively....

The consolation she had is her own personal IS: Japanese's true 3rd Gen IS (after abandoning Byakushiki) Muramasa.....
- Even so, she had to forced herself to get used to the quirk of the machine

- She work very hard but her effort not recognized....(She only got the machine because the Japanese Developers are using her as test pilot to improve on Muramasa..... She only got the role because she is lucky.)

It only served to pissed her off.... she get leftover (a piece of junk at the very worst) because somebody(A Rep Candidate of Japan at that) who can't handle a
machine....that is similar to what her Predecessors had been using.

About Muramasa:

Since optimization of One-off ability did not work out, Japanese Developer decided to work on improving basic function.... but they went a little overboard.

Result is a super-agile/nimble IS that is very difficult to control (too many Verniers which has to be control individually otherwise the machine will spin out of control).

Like its predecessor, its main weapon is a single sword.... an improved version of Yukihira... the problem is: It take up too many bus slot....
However, it still have enough space for a small sword (wakizashi...that is water-down version of the same sword)

However, the frame was "Suspended" because after the Japanese Rep Candidate Kanzashi could not handle the machine. Due to shortage of time, the Developers decided to improve on Uchigane instead of working on a new 3rd Gen IS....

The problem is: Half way through the development.... Byakushiki came back....(Tabane just screw them(Developer and Kanzanshi) all over....)
