Yeah, I agree with you guys. Lawrence had finally caught up to her somewhat, and was no longer trying to impress her by taking stupid risks or showing off his mad merchant skillz. He was actually starting to genuinely get through her defenses, so Horo stepped up her game. It felt like she was trying to get him to do something to give her an excuse to call off their relationship, but on the highest possible note.
