It isn't a bad place to end the episode, but damn, all of that filling. The 1th minute or so, a whole bunch of flashbacks to the past...
And the insert song as bad as the ones that appeared in the BETA anime...

And so well, I thought it was a story about humans versus giants and the humans were at a disadvantage, but now a new type of giant appears that actually is on the human side. Well then this isn't as difficult of a fight than I thought!

...And Misaka... You fall from that height and swung around by blasts of air............. And you can still move?! I wouldn't be surprised if she lost half of her body and continued to live (like a cockroach or chicken?).

And who the heck is that on the endcard? I think I recall that one guy (the one that's like ( -_-) ), but I don't think the other characters have been introduced.
