Dunno the story exactly, but it goes something like this:

You have 2 races, the Arm and the Core. Someone invented a way to put the mind of men in machines, so they can live forever. The Core wanted to put the entire human race in machines, but the Arm refused to coöperate, and they formed a rebellion. As the war raged, they eventually noticed that the Arm could never win, because the Core lived forever, and thus the Arm also put the minds of the men in machines. This war raged on for millenia, exausting the resources of many galaxies until there were almost no resources left. This is where you begin the game.

It's just an awesome game...

That could have been a nice game... anyway... anymore dead games???
