Knowing the raid is half of the battle; no matter how good your grid is, lack of experience in what the triggers are, compared to someone who knows exactly what they will do by sheer # of times s/he experienced the raid, it will be hard to do any significant damage unless everyone doesn't have much experience with the raid. At least, that's how it had appeared to me when I was doing it.
I got 4 grains in a row(out of 5) on my first 5 runs, and I griped too since I wanted the units to get the ultima skill more than a grain, but, like selfies were before mlb a base grid, I know at some point in the future, I'll come to appreciate those drops. Realizing that didn't make me feel any better though
