Thats not really what i was going for. I was only going on the direct opposition of their zanpaktou's powers and meanings. What I was saying didn't really have to do with powers but more about if Ichigo's and Aizen's Zanpaktou's were meant to be direct opposites.
This is can better explain what i was talking about:
Well Zangetsu (cutting moon) and Tensa Zangetsu (heavenly chain cutting moon)
and
Kyōka Suigetsu (mirror flower water moon)
I think thats the relationship hes trying to show.
I kinda look at Aizen's zanpakuto's ability like the moon reflecting off the water and the water can distort and change the image. So what do you do to counter the illusion on the waters surface?
You look at the moon directly.
or
You cut the moon so it can't show anymore in the waters reflection.
