There is another option, unless someone also murders chiaki's dad, he does not look like he is kicking the bucket any time soon, so he might be on the "Go with Marika and bring me a grandson (or a dozen) who might one day attempt to take the barbarrusa from my hands *insert loud laughter*" camp.
