Just like I thought, Saito dropped his notebook PC in the anime rather than having it with him like in the novel. There were a few interesting scenes involving Louise and Saito's PC, so it's a pity that they won't be shown.

I guess it wasn't just me who was thinking that. At first I thought maybe I remembered the book wrong. XD

As for episode 2, I'm starting to get tired of the way they are doing the anime adaptation. They seem to be focusing on the comedy too much, and

doing those ridiculous wipes are great for comedic elements, but they really ruined the duel with Guiche. I would've wanted them to take that entire battle and Louise's pleading a lot more seriously, instead of randomly flashing in and out.
