There so many unanswered questions such as:
What happened to Kokone?
How exactly did the virus start?
How did they cure the virus?

If they suspect someone left the island with the virus why would they go to mainland?
What was it about their base that repelled animals?
I hope they realize they're about to be dissected like lab rats because they're all over 200 years old.
