The Gates allows the body to function at its maximum while producting an unatural amount of chakra from the body. Differently speaking it is completely redundant with being the Kyubi's Jinchuuriki.
Naruto can already produce more chakra from his Bijuu than he could ever produce with his body Gates or not.
