The simpsons is a gravy train for those VAs. I doubt many of them would be able to get work at those rates from any other TV program.

there is no comparison between the simpsons and regular japanese anime. The Simpsons are worth hundreds of millions in revenue. A single season simpson probably make more money then all the anime of any year put together.
As far as the simpsons losing, let see what the studio exes tune is if they are require to half their compensation.
