I said _currently_. Meaning that if Hina indeed does end up with Hayate (I give her a 5% upset chance - more than for any other girl, because she clearly develops, and why bother with that unless the author has planned to do something with her), alot of things need to happen first.

1) Nagi needs to be handled in _some_ way. I can only see this happen via the mysterious Himegami, her former butler who left her.

2) As a variation of 1), Hayate needs to develop a certain degree of emotional independence from Nagi, to be able to be free to develop his existing-but-requiring-growth kind of link to Hina.

I mean, imagine that Hina manages to tell Hamster the truth, and to get some kind of "clearance" to proceed on her own. And the next opportunity she confesses to Hayate.

Right now, it's not going to work. He'll be shocked, and possibly flattered, but his "care for Nagi" priority is way too deeply ingrained SO FAR to allow for much imho. Certain things need to happen first. 1) and 2) at least...
