*GASP* I can't believe no one has posted the true place of where the catgirl started in Japan! *enters history professor mode* It actually comes from an old legend of the BakeNeko or Monster Cat, supposedly there was a cat that could turn into a hybrid human-cat form and it would terroize the people of japan, anyways yeah thats all I can remember from it, haven't read that tale in years ^^;;;
