Maybe the anime messed up, he was not treated in the boiler room with everyone around... Any1 from the novel can confirm this? (since Kanon is the only one when death is confirmed by only two people....the rest don't have time to check also because they rushed into the study room right away)
PS: i just have a shocking thought about if Kanon's true gender can change from world to world........-___-'
