no, not some years, more like some days, about half a year I think. the tombstone says Rosette lived 1912-1928, so she died the same year as the start of the show (or she died 1929?).

I think Aion indeed become God, he said at the end something like "a beautiful age is coming, I'm Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end... Pandemonium will be filled with Light, Heaven will be filled with Darkness... Everyone is in my control." however I'm still not really sure if it's Aion who has "become God" through the actions he took in the series, or Aion is always God to begin with (making the whole series a trial of people's faith or something?) Currently I'm more inclined to think that Aion is always God and the whole thing is just a setup by God, as it seems that will fit the last message better ("we can do nothing but to see the times go by in the path God has chosen")
