Must not have been a very good one, since it's not funny and they don't allude to it being one at any point. It starts off serious and keeps that tone all throughout the series. The idea of this anime being a parody rather than a really bad story ranks fairly high on my bullshit meter, but if we suppose what you're saying is true, it's still mediocre on all accounts.
And holy tits, it's in Super Robot Wars Z. Did anyone else not know this or was I the only one in the dark?
