Yuuki is just under six feet. And ussually he doesn't stand out. He's sitting down
I could see Yuuki not really drawing allot of attention. Most of the time he sits down reading, so he's not gonna really stick out. Most of the time when he goes somewhere it's with Haruki who immediately grabs everyone attention.

It was figured with Haruki at least, is that it wouldn't make sense for him to not get his ass kicked for acting like a weirdo unless he happened to be bigger than everyone. So we made Haruki bigger than everyone.
I suppose it could also be trying to play up the one head taller trope.
