Actually, they are getting more violent now, especially Miu. The longer the fight rages on, the more she becomes consumed by her own dou ki. I'm getting the awful feeling this is a repeat of what inevitably befell her mother, and it could be the reason why Saiga killed her so long ago. It was either that, or let her destroy friend and foe alike, along with her family and herself. And considering how practical Saiga is, he might've gone ahead and done it, regardless of how much it tore his heart out to do so. I really hope the same fate doesn't befall Miu, I really do. That would be a sucky end to the manga.
