Spoiler for Maybe... (prepare yourself for some crazy speculation):

Fairy Tail was disbanded by the council and got taken over by Raven Tail or something, so now the boy who may very well be Romeo is one of the last members to sport the Fairy Tail mark. Then he'll stumble across a survivor, and the survivor will look at the mark and remember everything about Fairy Tail. Maybe the amnesia would be a side effect of them trying to defend themselves against Acnologia's attack, or be part of one of Freed's enchantments since he'd surely have something to do with their survival as stated in the chapter, or maybe they'll go through the same experience as Jellal did when he was defeated at the Tower of Heaven and explain just how Jellal survived (he was, after all, supposed to have died, but didn't; plus he was in some sort of coffin when we see him after his defeat, so maybe they'll bring that up). And then the survivor and Romeo will go on a grand adventure to gather all the missing members, help them remember, and return Fairy Tail back to the way it was, kicking Iwan in his smug prick ass along the way.
