If anything, Shinji is going to RAISE through a lots of ranks this time around. He's really a lovable character in a "god he's so ヘタレ" kind of way. I loved the episode where Shinji and Shirou were peeking into Sakura's diary in hollow ataraxia. Poor Shinji. Poor Shirou.
