Yes, of course you’re right about making the thread user-friendly. I absolutely agree with you. But then, looking at the last comments I came to realize that I’m actually the one who knows Japanese worst of all here. You could say that I hardly know it at all because I never studied it properly.

慣用句は四字熟語のような表現ですね。もちろん、他の表現がたくさんあります。たとえば、「暖簾に腕押し」 のことです。
