I used to have a lot of the tiny ship models. You can still get them on HLJ for under two bucks each. I always wanted to collect a couple fleets as there used to be a Star Blazers branded miniatures game... maybe back in he 1990's? I thought it would be neat to adapt the game to use the small models. Alas, the book and the accumulated models disappeared along with some other collectibles a couple of moves ago. Someone probably moved into an apartment in 2008 and found a box of treasure in a closet.

I've been eyeing the 1/72 scale fighters as well. They look fantastic! It would be nice to see them in action, but I think I might have to wait on the movies till the price comes down or, as mentioned above, there is an official US box set. I'd rather spend the money on models at this point.
